To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled procedures, we operate on an appointment basis. Appointments may be made through our online portal or by calling 952-442-2119. Emergencies happen and when they do, they are given top priority, so occasionally there may be a delay. We make every attempt to see each client at their scheduled time. Should you be unable to keep an appointment, we kindly ask you to call so we may adjust our day accordingly. We appreciate your adherence to your scheduled time to be respectful to others.
As you enter the clinic you will see a sign indicating the waiting room for dogs to the right and for cats to the left. Our clients much appreciate the separate waiting room area for the two species. For the protection of all, all dogs should be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area. All cats should be in an appropriate cat carrier.
For your convenience, drop off appointments are available for patients already in our system. Usually we ask you to drop off early in the day to enable our doctors to have adequate time for examination and treatment. We ask clients to provide a list of their concerns and information on how we can reach them. Once the doctor is finished examining your pet, he/she will call you to discuss the findings. A discharge will then be scheduled.
Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. For your convenience, we accept most credit cards, cash or personal checks.
When unexpected medical needs strike, unexpected expense strikes as well. Waconia Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
